Video Capture products are available at your local computer store for under $50. You can install a video card that includes analog capture (ATI, All-In-Wonder) or a separate capture device (Pinnacle Systems). They come with capture/editing software. These computer cards are not difficult to install, but do require opening your computer case. So if you're not comfortable going inside your computer, have the store install it for an additional $40 or so.
