IEEE1394 (FireWire) Video Capture products are available at your local computer store for under $50. They usually come with capture/editing software and camera-computer cable. These computer cards are easy to install, but do require opening your computer case. So if you're not comfortable going inside your computer, have the store install it for an additional $40 or so.
