What about those new
High
Frame Rate Cameras?

Golf Swing Analysis
System Professional includes all
the great Standard version features and also adds 60 Frame-Per-Second Video/Analysis, a
special 21 speed Quick Video Player, High-Resolution Pictures and other features
which put Golf Swing Analysis
System Professional on a par (or better) with software costing hundreds of dollars
more.
60 Frame-Per-Second Video takes swing analysis to a
higher level by outputting twice as much visual and technical data as a normal
30 FPS video.
Import video from any Camcorder or Camera which
produces a standard "interlaced" AVI file.
Use any Camcorder or Camera format video that's converted and saved as a standard "interlaced" AVI
file.
With certain hardware, Video Capture Tool lets you easily capture the golf swing directly in the
program and instantly analyze it.
Quick Analysis allows golf instructors and players to quickly
capture and analyze the swing utilizing Direct Capture* and the Quick Video
Player which includes 21 speed play, go to, and alternating Key Positions,
segment looping and more.
High Resolution
Images- Clear, large pictures make analysis easier
to put together and to see.

60 FPS (Frames-Per-Second) Video/Analysis
This upscale Professional feature doubles the
normal video frame of 30 Frames-Per-Second, by splitting each frame into 2
separate pictures. 60 FPS produces a high-level video swing analysis. Compared to a standard video, there are twice as
many "stop points" during the swing, so you're able to freeze the
action more precisely.
With 2 times as much picture information and more
high-speed images you'll get very accurate clubhead and downswing data. This is
especially important when the clubhead is moving fastest. 60 FPS will capture a more precise impact position and show an image
closer to, or
exactly at, club-ball contact.

Additional benefits to this high FPS rate is
the availability of many slow motion and super slow motion speeds. The Quick
Video Player lets you select from 0.5 (1 image every 2 seconds) to 60 FPS
(normal speed) for extreme viewing control which yields smooth-looking video
even at low speed play.
Those using the PAL Worldwide Television/Video
standard will benefit even more. By doubling the relatively low 25 FPS standard
PAL rate to 50 FPS, high speed data and pictures produced by the Professional
version will result in a great improvement over the normal video rate.
A normal "interlaced" (.AVI) video file, one
recorded at the standard 30/25 frames-per-second, can be imported and up-converted to
60/50 FPS for use in the program. Bring in swings recorded from television or
other sources, analyze and use them for comparisons. (Additional
hardware/software may be required.)
Import video from any Camcorder or Camera which
produces a standard "interlaced" AVI file.
Use any format video from any Camcorder or Camera
that is converted and saved as a standard "interlaced" AVI
file.
Professional primarily relies on its own
proprietary format/players for displaying and working with swing videos. This unique system is far more precise, versatile and reliable than those which use a standard video file and player.
You also have the ability to save the swing as a regular .AVI video file should you
desire to use it outside the program. This also lets you enlarge the video and
view it on your monitor at full screen size.

Video Capture Tool*
The integrated digitizing software,
custom-designed especially for swing analysis, communicates directly with
your video capture device. It's setup so that a swing can be analyzed
utilizing 60 FPS (frames-per-second) High-Speed video. Technical aspects of the capturing, rendering
and saving processes have been pre-set so that only a simple, button-click
or key press is needed. However, capture options can be adjusted if you
desire and you have extensive manual and automated control.
You can capture an individual swing to any of 10 built-in video capture/analysis files.
This lets you keep up to 10 swings in the program and have them instantly available.
Easily attach a text note to the captured swing to help identify whether it was
"good, bad, etc." You can select which
swings to retain in "resident
memory" and which ones to capture over.
You can also capture a series of up to 10
swings at a time. Selecting any two or more of the 10 numbered buttons
will record and save the swings in the Video Capture Tool. If you'd like,
name and save the captured video, then import it and perform a comprehensive
or quick analysis later.
There are a number of utilities provided to
automate the process and make capturing easier. You can auto-time single and
series captures by pre-setting how many seconds you want to record. You can also
choose how long to wait before starting to capture and how many seconds to pause
in between digitizing a series of swings. The "countdown" to start and
in-between can be visually displayed and also provide you with audible alerts. Single
users will find this feature especially useful. Instructors will also appreciate
not having to be at the computer in order to start and stop
recording.
You can easily trim the length of your captured
video by simply cueing to where you'd like it to begin, the end point will be
set automatically. Convert the video to 60 FPS and save it as an .AVI video
file for use in another application or to load into the Video Work Tool in the
future. You have video compressor, cropping and size options.
The Video Capture Tool will allow you to control (play, stop,
cue, etc.) your camcorder or VCR and you can also preview and capture television video, if your
hardware provides these capabilities.
* Utilizing Video Capture Tool's Recording
function requires specific format camcorders and computer
hardware. Click here for needed equipment.
Direct Capture*
With literally a single button-click, this unique function lets you begin analyzing the swing within seconds by video
capturing a live or pre-recorded golf swing directly into the Graphics Work
Tool. Quick Comment, a voice recording option, lets you immediately add a
comment about the swing.
Capture High-Speed (60/50 FPS) video to any of the 4 built-in Quick Video files.
Clicking one of the numbered video selection buttons loads the
corresponding video.
Within seconds, overlay lines, circles and other pre-built graphic elements
and play the swing with complete control. Change elements and their positions as
you wish, then permanently merge the video and graphics. Save the swing as
part of a Quick Analysis or as an AVI format video file which can be used in
another application or to perform a comprehensive analysis in
the future.
Counting Quick Videos, you can hold, have instant access to and work with up to
14 swings at a time. Of course, you can save as many videos and swing analysis as you wish.
Quick Tip:
If you want to instantly compare one swing to another, here's a way to get immediate feedback.
Direct Capture a swing to Quick Video 1, place a red line or other graphic element over the
golfer's "wrong"
position and a green line, etc. at the "desired" position. Then, with the player hitting from the
exact spot,
capture to Quick Video 2. Because the Graphics Work Tool utilizes the same pre-built lines, circles, etc. for
all Quick Video overlays, they'll remain in the same place. Now, you're able to see how close the Quick Video 2 swing
matches-up to the "desired" position. This allows you to quickly and precisely compare swing positions, whether from the same player
or another golfer.
* Utilizing Video Capture Tool's Direct Capture
function requires specific format camcorders and computer
hardware. Click here for needed equipment.
Quick Analysis
Go from live or recorded-swing to begin your
Quick Analysis within seconds by using the Direct Capture* function and the
Graphics Work Tool. You can also perform a Quick Analysis on any of up to 10
swings captured and held, or opened in the Video Work Tool.
Crop, size, center images, overlay lines, circles, etc., play the
swing, and do a quick analysis. Voice record a Quick Comment about the swing. Easily save the merged video and graphics,
as well as the audio instruction or commentary, to the
special Quick Video Player. This custom Player holds and can play any of 5 Quick Videos with simple
button-clicks and provides unmatched viewing control. Manual and automatic
functions include:
21 speed play (60 to .5 FPS), select and replay a swing segment,
quickly set any of the 12 swing Key Positions (Address, Impact, etc.), button-click
go to a Key Position, and see one of 5 automatically-alternating Key Position
combinations.

The Quick Video Player also lets you play and record Quick Comments.
Select Quick Analysis for performing a fast, individual swing analysis.
Quick Analysis is also one segment of a comprehensive Rear or Side Swing Analysis.
High Resolution Images
Work with videos and still images
that are up to twice as large as Standard version pictures. The 640 by 480
pixel resolution pictures can easily be cropped and centered so that the
primary area of focus, the golfer, remains large while trimming away
useless scenery on the sides. This allows you to efficiently utilize your screen workspace and also
be able to neatly position 2 swings side-by-side.

This is the ideal size for notebook and desktop monitor display's set
at 1024 by 768 pixels.
