Camcorder/Camera

Flash Memory,
Hard Drive, DVD, mini DV, Hi8 and virtually any camcorder/camera can be used for your swing/putting analysis.

Import video from any Camcorder or Camera which produces a standard "interlaced" AVI file.

Use any Camcorder or Camera format video that's converted and saved as a standard "interlaced" AVI file.

Some camcorders output MPEG, MOV or another video format. These videos need to be converted to AVI files in Windows® Movie Maker (or another application) before importing and using them in the programs.

If you require the fastest turn-around time, a mini DV camcorder connected by FireWire (IEEE1394) to the computer is recommended. This setup allows capturing "live" or recorded-video directly into Golf Swing Analysis System Professional, Putting Analysis System and All Sports Analysis Program.

Notebook computer performance will not equal that of a similar desktop setup. Some systems, especially battery-powered laptops, might be deficient when required to undertake highly demanding tasks, such as, using Professional's Direct Capture feature or in being able to play one or more videos at full speed. However, the computer will likely have sufficient power to do a somewhat slower, but still quite satisfactory swing analysis.

Suggestions for optimizing the performance of your computer and the applications are included with the programs.

Monitor Display (Recommended Settings)
Standard, Resolution: 640 by 480 or 800 by 600 (24/32 Bit, Millions of Colors)
Professional/Putting Analysis System, Resolution: 1024 by 768 (24/32 Bit, Millions of Colors)

Golf Swing Analysis System (Standard, Professional) and Putting Analysis System are software-only products. Required hardware not included. Performance is computer system dependent.
